“Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography.” – George Eastman

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever. It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
— Aaron Siskind

Welcome to my website of photographs

I hope you like the images you see here.

Here you will find a wide assortment of images that I have taken over the years. From travels in such faraway places as Africa, Vietnam, Myanmar, India and China to more local spots like the Blue Ridge Mountains, the swamps and bayous of Louisiana to the coasts of Georgia, Mississippi and South Carolina - you will find a variety of images.

Every once in a while I deviate from travel portrait photography and find other things that catch my eye - reflections, interesting light, funny (to me) signs, a Mardi Gras Indian at Jazz Fest, a bee hovering over a Coneflower.

I would love to hear from you. Leave a comment for me.
